Lara B. O’Dell is an associate attorney with Tucker | Hester, LLC. Her practice focuses on representing Chapter 7 bankruptcy trustees in the collection of assets and administration of bankruptcy estates and debtors in Chapter 7, 13 and 11 matters; preference defense; collection matters for utility company; and business litigation. Prior to joining the firm in February of 2006, Lara’s experience included clerking for a criminal trial court judge, practicing in the areas of probate, estate administration, family law, and representing debtors in Chapters 7 and 13 bankruptcy proceedings. Lara is currently serving on the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana’s Advisory Committee for matters related to CM/ECF and the Court’s website.

Lara is the Corresponding Secretary for the Parent Faculty Association of St. Matthew School and a Den Leader for Pack 443 Cub Scouts. She is serving on St. Matthew Parish Jubilee Committee and participates in other volunteer responsibilities for St. Matthew Catholic Church and School, including Teacher Liaison, Mass Coordinator and Eucharistic Minister. Lara enjoys all activities related to spending time with her son, in addition to reading, scrapbooking, card making, skiing, and traveling (frequently to Denver and Orlando). Lara was raised in Indianapolis, and attended Cathedral High School, Indiana University and the University of Denver College of Law. Lara was born in 1971.
